Invasion was a British heavy metal band featuring vocalist Chan Browne, drummer Zel Kaute, and guitarist Marek Steven. From 2005-2012 they toured and recorded two albums, “The Master Alchemist” and “Orchestrated Kill Maneuver.”

Their sound is in the grand tradition of thrash metal greats such as Metallica, Slayer, and Megadeth, trafficking in crunchy riffs, doom-laden choruses, and complex chord structures. The term indie rock describes a style of rock music created independently of major record companies. Featuring unusual sounds from rock and electronic instruments, indie rock appeals to listeners seeking abstract, emotional lyrics.

Kicked off by bands like The Velvet Underground, indie rock formed its first true sub genre in the late 60s and early 70s with progressive rock. Progressive rock challenged the traditional rock template by incorporating outside influences from jazz and folk music.
